What Clients Say

The head chef was amazing and attentive. Food was phenomenal and great quality! He saw we wanted to get the busy waitresses attention after waiting a bit for our order to be taken and he jumped right in and had them assist us right away! Sitting outside is always nice. When you dine inside just keep in mind it's very small but you do get the treat of watching the chefs cooks all the food behind their bar. Definitely going back!

There needs to be a 100 star option on Google. This place is SO GOOD!!! We came back a second day and if we're in the area longer, we would be back every day! Small breakfast café where you can watch the cook make your meal on the other side of the counter. Everything is made to order and there is a ton to choose from. Based on what we saw, you can't go wrong! Everything was absolutely delicious, our kid even scraped his plate! The best breakfast out we've ever had.

This is one of our go to places for breakfast every time we go on vacation in the summer. My wife and son both had Nutella crepes with banana and I had the Sizzling Hash Skillet. It was certainly sizzling when it came out. Both were very good. The chef was excellent as well as we could see him multitasking preparing different dishes. Every time we go here the food is absolutely delicious and my skillet was perfect in terms of seasoning.

We sat at the bar watching the chefs work during our meal. They were COOKING! Quite literally lol. Highly recommend checking this place out. I had the steak sizzle and we got an order of table pancakes. Everyone was super friendly and the service was quick! My friends had the classic Benedict and a custom breakfast wrap. We obvi all shared and it was all delicious.

Delicious menu, I was only in town for 4 days and went there twice! I had the veggie frittata and the veggie crepes both excellent with great flavor. The service was efficient and friendly and I didn't feel awkward dining alone. You can eat inside or outside on their patio. (The name Turtle Cafe comes from the submarine that holds one person. They have it painted on the mural outside. You can see it and sit in it at the Connecticut River Museum.)

What an adorable little cafe! True small town feeling! Great coffee! I had no idea a fruit parfait could taste this good. Very sweet staff. Would definitely come back.
